Pray for Your Soldier: Psalms 121
(Insert Name)
will lift up his eyes to the hills —
where does his help come from?
His help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let foot slip —
He who watches over will not slumber;
indeed, He who watches over will neither slumber or sleep.
The Lord watches over him —
the Lord is his shade at his right hand;
the sun will not harm him by day,
nor the moon by night.
The Lord will keep from all harm —
he will watch over his life;
the Lord will watch over his comings and his goings
both now and forevermore.

Thank you for posting that. I would say that you don’t know how much that means/will mean to me, but somehow I think you do. Our last deployment was a childless one, and quite honestly, not a bad time. We’re facing one now with a baby boy, and it’s taking on a whole new meaning. I spent the better part of yesterday reading your archives, and (I’m sure as many people do) feel that I know you/ I’m also a stress-sewer, and have only done 3 projects in the 18 months he’s been home. I’m actually kind of excited to get back into it, especially after seeing all of your creations!
Hugs,
Sarah

Not to take from our men and women in uniform, but a prayer for their families too. I think they need so much prayer for sharing their loved ones with us.We can’t forget the sacrifice they are suffering too. Thanks for a wonderful daily reminder.

Awesome… It’s going on the bathroom mirror, so it doesn’t have to compete with E.’s artwork on the fridge for my attention 😉
