Birthday flags and linens are finished:
Party dress is embroidered:
Shoes are made (yes, I made these, using this awesome tutorial and pattern enlarged to 110%):
Hostess gift is sewn (Gameday Apron for my UT Tennessee friend – stitched in an hour):
I can name five things from my To Craft list for this trip that just didn't get made but one can only do so much, right?
I plan to blog while in Nashville, but if I don't get a connection, I'll see you on the other side of Thanksgiving!
Best,
Crystal
The Birthday girl was beautiful in this dress! Her big Sis was cute as well!
merci beaucoup pour votre blog et les tutos!
bonne continuation, bonne chance pour vous et tous ceux que vous aimez…
many thanks for your blog and the tutos
good lucks for you and all your loved persons
Love your pictures.
The birthday flags are adorable! What a great idea that you can use for at least a few years. I’m in love with the shoes… Miles has had several pair– I need to make an adult version for MAMA! 😉 Happy Holidays!
Gosh Crystal, you are so awesome! I wish you were my neighbor so I could sew with you. I just finished my sewing class, we made a simple bag, with a strap, an inside pocket w/zipper. outside pocket, and button holes for drawstring. It came out ok, I guess… I wish I would have chosen different fabric. It was fun…but I think I will have to take another class… I really want to make your booty bag. So have fun in Nashville!
Looks like a great party is in the works! I’ve had that pattern bookmarked forever for the shoes, but haven’t ever broke down and made them!!
And that purple in the first flag picture that’s the binding at the top? I so used that in the quilt for my bed!
Welcome to Nashville! I hope you have a safe trip!
Heather
Love the shoes and dress!!! What pattern did you use?
I hope you guys have a safe trip and lots of fun. Say hello to Nashville for me! It’s been 3 years since we’ve been “home” and I’m not sure how much longer it will be.
I love those fabrics for the birthday flags! really cute 🙂 the embroidery on the dress is adorable, I never would have thought to do something so simple, it looks perfect
Enjoy!
