Okay. So if you happened to know that I recently acquired a fish from a neighbor, you know that Fishy has been depressed, lazy, or sick since the day I got him, which the former owner assured me has been his demeanor for the past two years she’s owned him (I started a post about it and changed my mind; it was too sad). All he did was lie at the bottom of the tank – except to come up for food. Today things took a turn for the worse. I feel like such a failure. How can I take care of a toddler but not a beta fish? So, my neighbors (different neighbors; not the ones who gave me the fish) graciously agreed to take him tonight. Because of all things I just cannot handle waking up to a dead fish. Poor Fishy.

We had one in Tennessee. He was so pretty and was doing so good and went to feed him one morning and … well… dead. Such a shock. Not any warning or signs what so ever. I keep thinking I am getting another one but with 3 cats… Logan, one of our grandkids, had a hermit crab. They have enjoyed them but his died. His name was Dog. Brooklyn’s is Lola. Misty said they can be very entertaining. Expensive to set up but fun to watch.
