I started this before J. arrived for R&R. I had just enough energy and anxiety to finish it tonight. This was a pair of thrifted corduroy pants and pillowcase. (larger pics in Finished Projects Album)
Because this was corduroy and was already pretty thick, I didn’t put any interfacing in it. I also wanted it to be kind of floppy, so that worked out.
Usually, though for a little more structured bag, I would use some sort of interfacing.
are u putting anything in between those fabrics? like fusible stuff? your so thrifty!

About the legs: I haven’t done anything with them yet. Just added them to my Pikes Peak of a fabric stash (somehow it went from a molehill to a mountain in less than a year). I could either use the “tube” aspect of it to make mini-totes, or I could take them apart and patch them together with another weighty fabric to make a larger piece of material to do something with.
About the lining: I used a thrifted pillowcase.
I used a complementary material (the pink paisley) for the inside of the pocket and the underside of the handles.

I left u a message on the cinc board, but Ill ask here. Did u do anything with the pant legs that u cut to make that purse? What about the inner material what did u use?
